Whoever you are I can help with counselling. I offer a safe space in counselling to adult individuals, couples, parents, young people and children aged 6 and above.
I can help using a variety of counselling styles to suits you from practical focused work or long term work, to exploring difficult emotions, to using creative and playful techniques. Your approach to counselling can be as diverse as you are.
I understand that speaking with a counsellor practically or emotionally isn't always easy. Thats why you can choose your prefered method whether that be face-to-face, across webcam, telephone or email messages.
Are you a qualified or trainee counsellor looking for a supervisor? I offer supervision to counsellors working with individuals, couples, young people or children. We can build a supervisory relationship together face-to-face, or across webcam or telephone.
Counselling is described as a talking therapy. Its works by honesty exploring your feelings, thoughts and behaviours to help you find other perspectives. It is these other perspectives that lead to your solutions, different outlooks and peace of mind. I believe counselling is about finding a professional who is able and willing to sit with whatever difficulties you're facing whether an individual, couple, parent, young person or child. To not judge you and to provide a comfortable and secure space to carefully unravel difficult and painful emotions. To support you in finding meaning with those difficulties, making changes to feel better and to improve yourself and your relationships. To offer ideas that might help but to not tell you what to do. This is what I'm able to offer using a range of approaches to suit your needs and preferred way of working.
I've been helping adult individuals, couples, parents and young people in counselling for 15 years. I specialise in working with relationships, whether thats with other people, or the relationship you have with yourself. The space I provide is confidential and safe.
